Hatcher, Jwade and his team lost a heartbreaker. Up 1-0 in Top of 7th with two outs. Bases loaded and the SS booted a tough play and threw the ball away trying to get the guy at second. Several throwing errors followed on the same play and the runners and batter eventually scored before the play was complete. Ashley lost 4-1. Wade said it was heartbreaking to all the kids. Maybe they can regroup as they had one of the best HS pitchers in the nation down going into the last inning.

  9. bhatcher Says:

b w, thank for the update. That is pretty impressive to have a nationally ranked pitcher within one out of a loss in the state finals. Hopefully they will regroup and get it done tonight and bring the title east.
